David, I miss you so unbelieveably much. Its been almost 2 years, and its just as hard now, as it was then. We all miss you soooooo much. We have all changed alot too. But I believe we are all still the same as we where then, on the inside. And although life moved on, we never forgot you. You where such a sweet kid, and I miss ya. And when it is time to meet again, it'll be incredable. Watch over all of us babe. Much love to you, and your family.

Davey as I knew him for many years was a great, kid loved by many. I knew Davey from my best friend Darcy, they both grew up down the street from me in Matteson, IL. He and my brother played at our house occasionally when darcy would bring him over with her. He was always so happy and full of life. Always asking questions wanting to know more and more. He would never just take a one word answer he always wanted to know the whys and how comes of life. In his death he has left me and his family and friends asking the same why how come? One question no matter how hard you try there just is no answer for. I pray that his memory will live on with his everyone who knew and loved him, and that we may also ask why and how come. Life is about learning and Davey knew that all to well. So when asked how I will remember him that is the first thing that comes to mind. To his family I am very sorry for loss, and I hope this makes your bond as a family even stronger. R.I.P. David "Davey" Bruce Learn Jr. we all love and will remember you always!

David touched my life so much that through the tears I can still smile. I watched him grow up and become a wonderful person. I have seen firsthand how much he loves and was loved by his friends and family. No matter how much I cry, I always remember the wonderful memories: driving to Florida with the whole family while Courtney and David took naps on me, vacationing in Florida and the picture taken on the Jurassic Park ride, his energy, his smile, weekends at his mom's, etc. While I was blessed with an amazing friend like Darcy, the hidden miracle was being touched and certainly affected by a wonderful kid like David. I love you, David. You're always in my heart.

David&Roy;, There are few people in life that leave an impact on our hearts, Davey was one of those people for me. In the short time I knew him, he became like one of my own son's and he had no problem's treating me like a mom! I have no words of wisdom, I can only say that my heart does not have a piece missing because he's gone, but that my heart is fuller because he touched me.

Learn Family: I did not have the priviledge of knowing David, but I do know Darcy. I have been with her through this horrible time and have witnessed her love for her brother and the rest of the family. I have come to know that David was loved to the extreme by everyone he came in contact with, especially Darcy. I just wanted to say I am deeply sorry for your loss and pray that God gives you the strength you need to heal. David will never be forgotten because he has a special place in your hearts. God Bless.

Where do I even begin. Words cannot even begin to express the pain I feel and will always feel. David holds such a big place in my heart and will be forever missed. I had such a special bond with David, one that most siblings never see or could understand. He was a crazy and wonderful kid with a full and amazing life ahead of him. His memory will live forever and he will not be forgotten. I would like to thank all of the wonderful friends and family that have been there for me through all of this. I've been so blessed with some of the most amazing people in my life. Thank you all so much, I could not make it through this without you all. God Bless.

David was my only son and although he was a very energetic teenager, we had a great life together. With his passing the void in our lives is huge and I hope this memorial site will bring great peace to me and the rest of David's family and friends. I wish to thank all my family and friends for their love and support. I don't know how I would have survived this without them. Sincerely, David Sr.
